“Before I found my passion in photography, I was a licensed cosmetologist, a journey that equipped me with invaluable skills and insights that continue to enhance my work behind the camera. Since transitioning to professional photography in 2015, I’ve discovered how my background in beauty and aesthetics plays a pivotal role in capturing stunning images. As a cosmetologist, I honed my eye for detail and developed a deep appreciation for the art of presentation. Understanding how to accentuate a person’s features and create flattering looks has directly influenced my approach to photography. I know the importance of lighting, angles, and posing, which allows me to highlight my subjects’ natural beauty in every shot. My first camera was a Canon Rebel, a tool that opened up a world of creativity for me. With each click of the shutter, I began to explore the power of visual storytelling. The transition from beauty to photography felt seamless, as both fields revolve around creating captivating images to evoke confidence.”

“I’m a proud mom of two incredible kids who keep me on my toes! My daughter, Bentley, is a passionate figure skater who dazzles on the ice with her grace and talent. Watching her practice her jumps and spins is a joy! Meanwhile, my son Zephyr is making waves on the ice as a hockey player for the Jr. Lightning team. Whether it’s cheering for Bentley at her competitions or catching Zephyr’s games, my life is filled with excitement, teamwork, and plenty of laughter. Balancing their busy schedules is a challenge, but seeing their dedication and love for their sports makes it all worth it!”

“When I’m not behind the camera capturing beautiful moments for my clients, or chasing after my kiddos, you can find me diving into my passion for live music at emo rock shows, I’m the preppiest punk rocker you’ll ever meet. I love rollerblading along Bayshore, feeling the breeze and soaking up the sunshine while I glide along the waterfront. My parents are drag racers so naturally I love all things cars, drifting, drag racing and I even have my motorcycle license, And what’s a good day without cocktails with friends old and new!! “I’m a proud USAF military brat, born in Illinois but never quite rooted there. My childhood was an adventure, moving every couple of years to places like New Mexico, Germany, South Carolina, the Panama Canal, New Jersey, Florida, Ohio, Mississippi, and Colorado. As a teenager in Tampa, I felt a deep connection and knew this could be my forever home. After exploring various places and experiencing new adventures, I realized that my heart was always in Florida. I’m back, and this time, I’m here to stay for good!”

“Have you heard of the label crunchy mama? That’s how I would label the early stages of motherhood for myself. I took a very holistic approach on how I viewed motherhood for myself. I had two planned home births, saved the gender reveal from myself and therefore everyone else until baby came earth side, breastfeed for almost two years with both littles, made all food from scratch and even took things too a whole other level with cloth diapering. My family and friends thought I was insane to say the least but for me I did what felt right and took things old school!!”
